Hydrogen Sulfide H₂S

Hydrogen Sulfide H₂S: Hydrogen sulfide is a colorless, transparent gas with a characteristic rotten-egg odor at low concentrations. At higher concentrations it has a sweetish odor and at still higher concentrations, an odor may not be detected.

The acceptable concentration for protection of health for an eight-hour, five-day week shall be 20 ppm. Fluctuations are to occur below this concentration (OSHA).
